Maxime Fillion is a music teacher, pianist, and composer who works and teaches in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. He obtained B.Mus. and M.A. degrees from McGill University in composition and theory. Fillion's music draws on multiple influences, and is particularly interested in jazz. His master's thesis examines the music of Brad Mehldau, focusing particularly on his covers of popular songs.
